Soil4Climate is fundraising to ensure food and water security on Maasai lands in Kenya. The project will help bring a borehole and regenerative, holistic planned grazing to the Enkutoto Nalala village in the Kajiado district of Kenya. This is also a climate solution, as improved grazing builds soil carbon.Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support. I’ve included information about Soil4Climate below.
Mission: Restore soil to reverse global warming
Vision: A stable climate with healthy soils and abundance water and food Values: Respect. Education. Hope. Love. Transparency. Soil4Climate, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization that advocates for soil restoration as a climate solution. We promote regenerative land management practices to capture atmospheric carbon and encourage collaboration with the larger body of climate activism. Uniting “drawdown” strategies with emissions reduction, divestment from fossil fuels, a price on carbon, and climate justice advocacy, together creates a powerful alliance.

I have read about your Maasai regenerative project. I have friends in western Kenya who insist that regenerative work on soils will not be successful, because the soil is mostly red clay. I have promised to find out if there is any work that has begun on healing shamba or agricultural lands. Please call me at 781-646-3760.

Mary, from a friend in Montana, who has improved his soil via regenerative practices.... Clay had the greatest impact.
